Lowers Risk Group Launches New Forensic Accounting Division to Expand its Risk Management Solutions
June 6, 2018

Leading enterprise risk management solutions provider, Lowers Risk Group (LRG), announces the launch of its new forensic accounting division, Lowers Forensics International (LFI). LFI offers expertise in insurance claims accounting, litigation support, investigative services, and expert testimony to support organizations worldwide.

The forensics unit is the newest addition to an organization that has experienced significant demand for solutions that address the growing risks of today’s increasingly digital, increasingly regulated global business environment. Through its four related companies, Lowers Risk Group provides comprehensive enterprise risk management solutions to organizations operating in high-risk, highly-regulated environments and organizations that value risk mitigation.

Lowers Forensics International will directly complement the services of LRG’s internationally-recognized risk mitigation consulting division, Lowers & Associates (L&A). L&A specializes in risk mitigation and loss prevention with considerable experience in the insurance, banking, and secure transport industries. These industry segments, in particular, have a strong need for rapid response and sound evidence when facing catastrophic losses and complex claims investigations.

Mark Lowers, CEO of Lowers Risk Group, explains: “Recent advances in technology, rises in fraud, and a growing litigious environment have increased the need for timely, persuasive, and accurate financial evidence. Our clients operate in increasingly high-risk, highly-regulated environments where the potential for loss is significant. As such, we determined the need to have forensics professionals on staff to bring quick and successful resolution to claims, disputes, and litigation issues that impede business momentum.”

Lowers Forensics International will be led by Marc Johnson, President for U.S. operations, and Joe Scarlato, President for International operations. Mr. Johnson has handled files throughout the United States and internationally, involving the evaluation of damages, insurance claim analysis, forensic accounting, and litigation support. He has handled a wide range of files related to property damage or theft, including Jeweler’s Block coverage and employee malfeasance. Mr. Scarlato is experienced in evaluating economic and financial damages in litigation and insurance in Latin America and the United States. Johnson and Scarlato lead a global team of highly experienced forensic accountants to serve organizations worldwide.

Lowers Forensics International is headquartered in Jersey City, NJ. The company has offices in Providence, RI, Dallas, TX and Philadelphia, PA. Latin American business operations are managed through a bilingual team located in Miami, FL, along with key executives in the main office. Learn more at lowersforensics.com.
